Ain't it a shame..............

by Del McMullen / June 13, 2004 11:48 PM PDT

Bill Clinton and John Kerry competing for ink and air time.

Clinton put his book promotion tour on hold for the Reagan funeral and
now needs to make up time.

Kerry put his campaign on ice and needs to make up time.

And it seems Clinton is getting more attention than Kerry for other reasons.
It has been reported that Clinton was upset that he was not invited to speak
during the Reagan funeral. It has also been reported that Nancy was firm in
her decision that Clinton not speak, in that she felt Clinton had "stained" the
Oval Office, an Office that both she and Ronald "revered".

Does anyone know?

I looked on the net if there was any official portrait format for the Presidential portrait in the W.H. Found lots of portraits online, and they are varied, so I assume it is somewhat up to the President what he would like.

Clinton's was unveiled today and it shows him in the Oval Office with a flag behind him. I'm thinking there are lots of other Presidential "backdrops" he could have chosen that wouldn't instantly bring back mind what went on in that office!

A President being depicted in the Oval Office with an American flag behind him? Dang, who came up with that lamebrained idea!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
