AIM 6 on WiNVista

My daughter bought a new lap top with win vista.

after startup she double clicks AIM on the desktop.

It immediately starts up as normal because she has the ... remember my password box checked.

she says she can not uncheck the box to keep it from automatically signing on aim.

Any suggestons, beyond uninstalling aim.

1) Sign on normally to AIM.
2) Sign off (do not exit AIM).
3) The Sign on box should be there.
4) Uncheck the Auto Sign In box

That should do it.
