Question

After Upgrading to Windows 10 have problem with ejecting FD

Sep 6, 2018 10:59AM PDT

Recently updated my custom built computer including upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10 home. I found the icon for safely ejecting NTFS formatted flash drives in the lower right hidden icon box just where you would expect. However after right clicking 'eject Cruzer', no pop-up box notifying me it is safe to eject Flash Drive ever actually pops up. If I click on the icon again it doesn't ever show a choice to eject the Flash Drive again. At that point just one choice is shown; it realds 'open devices and printers'. I've seen the screen shots on the net showing how it is supposed to work/look (basically pretty much like it did on Windows 7), but the 'safely eject' prompt just doesn't seem to respond/appear on my computer now. Ideas? Help? Suggestions? Thanks.
