After upgrade to iOS 13.2, iPHone 11 battery doesn't last

I've had my iPhone 11 less than a month. I like it! A few days ago, I upgraded to iOS 13.2 and now my battery only lasts about a day. I spent lots of time with Apple tech support and they had me do a few things to help, like turn off all programs running in background, screen brightness, etc. He said if that didn't work, then maybe we would have to reset. I don't like that idea. Has anyone had this problem. I had read that the battery lasted much longer but I didn't feel that it did. But now, it's impossible. I'll call Dell tech again, but would appreciate any suggestions before I do. Thanks, Peggy

You are unlikely to get a decent answer from Dell,

but I will assume that was a typo.
As long as you backup your iPhone, a reset is not a big deal.
Keep pounding away at Apple Support.

It was late and I must have been sleepy! Of course, I had my last Dell for 9 years and it’s only three years for my iMac! Thanks for the comforting suggestion.
