Question

After restarting the system It wont let me log in again?

After restarting the system to add new updates it will not accept my password log in. It says that the user ID or password is incorrect. I do not know what to do at this point as I never had encounter this problem before. Can someone give me some advise. I have backed my personal files to an external drive. But I need to get my system operating again. Help

Now you need to download, NTPassword

you will find it here: http://www.pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/

CD110511.zip is the file you are looking for. It's about halfway down the page under the heading Downloads.

You will, of course, need to do this on a computer that is actually working and that has a CD/DVD burner installed.
Download the file, unzip it and make a CD with the results.

this CD will boot your computer and allow you to change the password

You will find complete instructions here: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/toolsofthetrade/ss/ontpre-screenshot-guide.htm

Good luck
