After installing Win95

Dec 2, 2003 6:22AM PST

on the initial bootup, it hangs with this message:
While initializing Device IOS:
Windows protection error:you need to restart your computer. It continues to return to the same situation
after restarting. Still having problems with Hot 591P
which it seems like I cant get the best of and wont let
it get the best of me. George

Is there a particular reason why you still are using Win95? I would upgrade if you can because Microsoft is no longer going to support older OS and I think they have already stopped Win95.

That said, I have had a similar problem with Win98SE when I had it. Sometimes I could turn off the computer for a while (10 mins or so) and I could turn it back on and it' would work. Don't ask why, it just did. Then I started getting it more often and I had to reinstall the OS. I think it has to do with the files getting corrupted for the OS.
