After foramt and reinstall of XP SATA drives coming up weird

by mastergunner14 / September 4, 2008 1:50 AM PDT

OK I just had to format and reinstall XP (SP3 installed). When I did this my SATA HD and DVD writer were showing up in the lower right hand corner like a USB drive does. Click on the symbol and it asks do you wish to safely remove these 2 drives like a USB. What happened and how do I fix it. Thanks.

It's an adjustment. Sorry about that. Just something you run into. Some want it, some don't.

XP F6 FLOPPY SATA INSTALL

But you should not be doing much else here. There is no bug, no fix. Just set that as you want.

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
