Question

After BSOD apps cant connect to internet

Nov 30, 2018 3:00AM PST

Was playing a game while listening to music and talking in discord. Friend asks me to screenshare and the moment I click the screenshare button in discord I get a blue screen of death. I restart the PC, everything seems to work fine, but the apps I had running now can't connect to the internet (Spotify, Discord, Steam). I tried deleting the apps and reinstalling them, but the installers still can't connect to the internet. Any ideas on how to fix this? I really want to use those apps again Sad

Any Norton or other suite?
Nov 30, 2018 9:59AM PST

Again, just a few months ago I ran into Norton blocking such. Very strange. Uninstalled which was a pain because you have to use a download so I had to use a second PC to get the uninstaller/remover.

Be sure that the date and time is correct on routers and your PC too.

Answer
Focus on the networking and maybe a firewall

rather than the apps you mention. In fact, how is your browsing now, after the "accident"?
