When on the road, I use my P3-600 MHz laptop to capture, edit and burn a SVCD of some presentations. It seems just fine, but slower than my desktop.
If such burns up a machine, then the machine had some serious defect.

I plan to transfer several hours of video tape to my pc, using a video capture card, and then edit it. Should I be concerned that such heavy use of my computer?s Pentium III CPU will cause it to over heat or damaged it?
