You really need to get a virus scanning util like Clamwin. It's free. Just go to www.clamwin.com site. Make sure to update Clamwin virus definitions (Using update menu option) and run a FULL system scan. Check out Http://housecall.trendmicro.com site. This site runs an activeX util to scan. You must use MS Internet Explorer for housecall to work. Using both, I have been able to remove nasty trojans.
I'm using Win XP home edition and have zone alarm home version and Lava Ad-adware SE personnal in my system.
My NAV 2000 manage to delete/quantine Trojan.Tooso.F or it seems to be deleted after I click the delete box but the report says delete failed. Is it still in my system?
Adware.CDT was also found and was deleted but when I check the scan report it also showed delete fail. I run my PC in the save mode and do a Virus scan and Adware.CDT was found again and I proceed to delete it. Again the report show delete fail. What should I do? Thanks for your help
