Adware help.

Apr 2, 2004 1:23PM PST

Hi, I have a very large amount of adware on my computer. I used the program Spy Sweeper, and have loacted and deleted all of the programs. The adware doesnt stop though. There is one named Alexa Toolbar that keeps coming up when I scan. I was wondering if anyone could help me remove this for good. Thanks.

Yeah I know that, I found it and scanned my computer, but it says in order to delete the files, you have to buy the program. It just pointed out all of them, but wont delete them.

There are come programs that use "spybot" or something similar in their names that are not free. Make sure the the file you download is something like spybotsd12.exe or spybotsd13.exe

Go to www.cnet.com and download Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.2, I have found this to be the best ad-ware/spy-ware removal program.
