Advice Requested on Choice of MP3 Player

by 1234567890asdf / June 11, 2007 1:00 PM PDT

Hello,
I would like some help in narrowing down my choices for an MP3 player. I am currently looking for something between $200-300. I will be using it primarily to listen to music, but would also like to use it to watch videos. My ideal amount of storage is 10 GB (all I really need), and support for games would be a plus, though not needed. I want something with a long battery life, especially when playing videos, and have narrowed it down to:

iRiver Clix (Second Gen, 8 GB)

Cowon D2 (4 GB)

Archos 404 (30 GB)

(What I'm currently looking at)

I like the iRiver Clix because, first of all, it got an 8.7, which is pretty amazing by CNet standards. It seems small, the screen seems bright (good for watching movies), it has an FM tuner and recorder, and the interface seems pretty cool. My only problem is that I may need more than 8 GB, and it doesn't have any external card support.

I like the Cowon D2 because it's small, it has a nice screen, and the battery life is amazing. However, it doesn't have that much internal memory, and the interface (at least with the one I used), wasn't as easy as what I'm used to.

The Archos 404 seems cool. I have never used one, and never seen one. If I could get some reviews from people here I'd appreciate it!

Well, sorry for the long(ish) post. Hopefully you guys can help me choose!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
