You state you want the 1080 so given it's one of the nicest cards out there, what is the question here?

I thought the 1080 cost far more than 250?

Max fps in max settings running in 1080 as in 1920 by 1080 res.

That's not a question.

And the 1080 is top rated for most folk.

I will add a question though. If my display is 60Hz and my GPU produces 1000 frames a second (not unheard of on the 1080) did I just spin my wheels?

In reply to: :)

It's all about budget and what's available to you.

See what fits in the gtx series and then see what fits in the rx series.

Then you start comparing.

As I've understood GeForce GTX 1060 6GB Dual Graphics Card is from Asus? If yes then take Asus, StormX is from Palit, it's good too, but Asus GTX 1060 would be better

I doubt it will make much difference.

In the future when you provide parts provide a link so members don't have to go searching and we will know exactly what your talking about.

Here's the deal.

Those makers get the card design from Nvidia and then choose to tinker if they wish, polish the controls and such but there's usually little difference in performance. If there is, you find reviews on the cards and compare.

If I want a good comparison I use the same reviewer on both cards. That way I might be assured the testing was on the same test rig.
