advice on system rebuild

looking at replaceing MB, cpu, ram, graphics card, and psu...keeping cd drive, hard drive and case....old system is a intell..new system will be amd

Im needing to know if all will work together (dont want to end up with RAM that wont work with MB)

When I see that 550 ti I'm guessing you want to game.
If that's true it might be best to push that psu out to the 550w range......single rail.

Hd.
Hardware wise it does not care which type machine you connect it to.
Do you think you can take the Hd from the old machine and put it in the new machine and boot it up?

Yes I figured I was going to have to do a total reload, and do have the "Windows 7 Ultimate" install disk from this build...I jut dont know he steps I need to take to do that (dont know if it is as easy as just putting cd in drive and booting up)

As far as hardware I did run into a few troubles with this current build (ram was not compatable with MB and computer would not boot with all 4 memory sticks in, but would with only 2 in). I was wanting to make sure that I did not have that trouble on this build

Yes I do a little online gameing, not hardcore but when i play I would like to have more than 3-6 frames per sec
