The cameras you listed are much like the SD870IS.
Why not think about something that provides more than just another point and shoot.
Look at the Canon S90.
It provides better low light performance due to a brighter lens (f/2.0) and a better design CCD sensor assembly.
Since you use a DSLR, you will like the manual controls the S90 has to offer.

Looking for help in deciding what to buy to replace our canon sd870is. We loved that camera and used it a ton for indoor and outdoor pics of kids and family -- not so much scenic shots. We have a dslr (Canon EOS) and use that for big events and important shots, but we need a good throw in the pocket/bag and go camera. Looking at the canon 780, 940, 980. Open to trying new brands though. Any thoughts? Thanks.
