Every year Tax Cut issues an "audit warning" because our charitable deduction on Schedule A is several times the average for our income level. BTW, this is the only time I'll answer this question. I am curious, though -- do you get similar alerts?

you wish, giving more than the norm for your income level is not necessarily giving your 'fair share' as some politicos like to say. The percentage of income contributed by upper income groups is notoriously low.
