advice on new headphones

Sep 11, 2005 4:14AM PDT

Right now, I have a pair of Sony MDR-EX71 and I love it great. The problem is the wires are a little too thin and so every three months or so the they start to fall apart. I'm sick of having to replace my $30 'phones just because the wire problem. So, anybody have any suggestions?

I've owned a pair of Shure E3c before and the wire was really thick and nice but I didn't like the fit. They would always fall out every so often no matter what size sleeves I used.

Also, anybody know any good behind the head headphones. I've been using the Philips/Nike HJ055 duro but they've stopped working recently as well.

-Thanks
