i don't know anything about mp3 players. i want to get my girlfriend an mp3 player and plan to spend up to $100. SHE only needs it for jogging or walking the dog. i would appreciate any recommendations as far as quality and features for the price i am willing to spend.
thanks,

follow up question....
Mar 16, 2006 10:42AM PST

after reading some posts, i/she wants a player that is not subscription based. basically she just wants to either put songs from the hard disk onto it, or convert cd's to mp3 and put it on.
1 more question....if you buy a sandisk sansa, do you have to comit to some kind of subscription??????

Subscription Services and Reccomendations

Subscription services are really about how you get the music, and don't have much to do with the player itself except if it supports them.

So, no to answer your question.

Reccomendations:
- mobiBLU DAH-1500i (This thing is really tiny and cute! Comes in a couple different colors.)
- Creative Zen Nano Plus (Simple to use and come in many colors.)
- Sandisk Sansa m200's (Low price.)
