Advice needed for Laptop selection

Jul 11, 2018 6:01AM PDT

Hi, my query is regarding the budget laptop purchase. I will be using it for blogging and some technical programming/coding in general, so would be using a couple of IDEs. I am not into gaming at all.
I want to get opinion regarding Lenovo ideapad 330, 15.6 fhd, 4 GB ram, 1 TB HDD, i3 8th Gen, 81DE00H5IN

I am also considering ASUS vivobook X507UA- EJ179T, Core i3 6th gen, 8gb Ram, 1tb HDD, 15.6 fhd with finger print sensor.

Please advice which would be a better pick.

I'd like to see you in the i5 16GB and SSD today for coding. I can't imagine what an i3 would be like running say Android Studio as I have it on a 7th gen i7 with 16GB, SSD and still see a few seconds delay at times.

But budget being what it is, what you listed, why not?
