Whay not put a sticky notice there saying that

"Advertising is not allowed. If you'd like to advertise, contact our advertising department and then give them the URL and/or phone number."

Bob did put up a sticky in the Cell Phones forum to that effect, but in general content from the forum policies isn't duplicated throughout. I believe Lee cited redundancy previously, but I would argue spammers are too dismissive and conceited to care. Besides, you wouldn't want to deprive us of our target practice, would you? Devil

The cell phone forum was more like a weed patch of adverts.

It was time for a little weed killer so that's why I did that sticky there. It seems to have helped but just like most lawn products you don't want them all over.

I haven't hit a button for a while. I usually find these late night, after work.

I noticed that the Web Design and hosting forum has been getting a few extra ones lately.
