Advertisements on my Samsung 6670

I love my Samsung TV, It simply one of the best pictures I have ever seen on a led so you can imagine how impressed I was, well until about 2 weeks ago. I don't watch terrestrial tv, just because I have plenty of tv and blue rays and internet to watch content my way and by my choice. I was on the hdmi channel like I usually am, with xbmc there watching my movies. Yet I am getting a 20-30 second add up. Not only is this add popping up every 3-6hours(not really sure but its like 1-2 times a day I notice it.) but I cant ever stop it when it does, only thing I can do is turn my tv off and on.
I don't know how people feel about this but I didn't buy a TV to get advertising sent to me on a hdmi chanel. I cant believe Samsung have done this. Unfortunately I now will not invest any more in a Samsung product, its a shame because apart from the adverts its a great tv, but force feeding people content they don't want or ask for from the company you buy a tv from is unacceptable.

Personally if they want to have adverts on their tv then give the customer the tv for free, I still wouldn't want one. Does anyone else have this issue

its defiantly not in shop demo mode and I have removed a lot of the apps. Just hope it sorts it, Somehow I think itll keep happening, it only started recently doing it and feels like it happened during their last firmware update, though I cant bee sure, its just the timing fits. I have read some similar posts on google and I know Samsung sells advertising on various aspects of the tv, so im thinking this ones a experiment, however if it is a experiment ill be selling the tv cause I don't want random advertising while watching a blu ray lol. It kills the Viewing experience.

Yeh its still happening, I just had a trailer for captain America shut me out of what I was watching, I got a feeling its from their built in pay now store place as they have captain America up on it. Wow. There's no off switch in settings in guessing I can unplug the internet from it, but that kinda defeats the purpose of the smart tv. I've sent Samsung a email hopefully they can tell me how to stop this happening, ill share that info later

A setting to not launch Smart Hub which does the same. I've put out questions on this to folk I know but did you call Samsung?
