Advertisements on CNet Page Not Valid?

Feb 26, 2011 5:22AM PST

I actually clicked on an advertisement for an Allienware Laptop from the CNet website.

The Ad shows the price of $699 if clicked from here, using either the "Link" or the "Coupon".

It links to Dell and the price is a lot higher for the items listed in the Ad.

I support CNet and have recommended the site to others.

I trust that what CNet would represent or offer from their website would be legitimate; not just bogus tracking hooks.

What's up with that?
