Advertisements blocked!!!

Mar 17, 2005 12:17PM PST

Hey!!
I'm having a problem with my computer, cause it has suddenly began blocking ads(again) on web pages, and many times it includes pictures which are links (i.e. "continue" button)
this had happened before, but then I formatted my hard drive and reinstalled everything again and all went back to normal.
This just began happening a few days ago, so I tried restoring to an earlier time, but it did not work.
I uninstalled my Firewall/Antivirus/Spam blocker, eventhought, I saw no reason for it to suddenly begin blocking everything.
So I don't know what else to do? Is there any software that I may no be aware of that can be doing this?
If it helps, my laptop is:
Toshiba P-25
Windows Xp Pro SP2
E-Trust EZ Armor 2005
Microsoft Antispyware

I would appreciate any comment. Thanks!!

I unchecked all and when I opened messenger the ads did appear, but when I run iexplorer all the ads got cancelled including the msn one.
But I guess that means it is some program that runs with iexplorer or something, I just have to identify it.
