Advanced Browser Info

Jan 6, 2006 5:46AM PST

Im trying to get rid of my Advanced Browser, I downloaded it, and not too crazy about it, and someone told me it has spyware in it. Anyhow when I go to ADD/Remove Prgrams its not letting me remove it, is there a way around this?Im sure its easy but Im better at graphics than the "tech" stuff. Thanks for any help, also does anyone have Advanced Browser and do you like it, do you think its fast as they claim it to be?? Sandie

Goto the Advanced Browser Program files folder, (possibly found in c/Program Files/Advanced Browser, or if not, right click the Advanced Browser shortcut on your desktop and select Properties, and look for the full path under "Target"), find the file called Uninstall and double click that.

The browser has an uninstaller according to their web site;
http://www.advancedbrowser.com/faq.htm#uninstaller

I would create a System Restore point before doing so. The browser uses a lot of Internet Explorer files, and you never know what the uninstall program will delete.
