Question

Advamced Data Recovery Methods

Mar 18, 2017 6:51PM PDT

Hello, I am looking for a way to recover deleted photos on my computer, I have already installed and ran photorec but the problem is that when I run it, it come up with thousands of random pictures from Internet ads. so I am wondering..

Is there a software that can scan specific parts of my computer? and if so where would I look for pictures deleted from the recycle bin (not random images)

Thank you in advance for the help!

Recuva Works For Some

Nothing is guaranteed though. The more you use the computer and write over the data, the worse the chance of recovery is.

Hope this helps.

Scan Specific Partition with Recovery Tool

As far as I know, most data recovery tools scan specific disk/drive of computer, but not specific parts like recycle bin. However, since recycle bin is usually located at Local Disk C, you can scan this partition with recovery tools. It would show useless images still, but should be much less. Jihosoft photo recovery allows users to preview photos after scan so that you would know which to recover.
