Ads constantly popping up and new tool bar!!

Oct 1, 2004 5:28AM PDT

I am not sure what has happened but we are constantly getting these ads popping up and now suddenly we have a new tool bar in our internet explorer, (6.0). We have AVG virus protection and downloaded an NO adware program but this isn't helping any. AVG keeps finding a 'downloader agent' virus and heals it. Then it keeps coming back from somewhere. What can I do to stop this from happening and get rid of this toolbar. I also noticed that some words are hightlighted on the explorer pages-that wasn't there before either. I think the new toolbar has something to do with it because on it, it has icons for gambling, dating services, ect. Thank you for any help ahead of time.

Susan - please post this in the "Virus & Security Alerts" forum to get the proper help with this problem.

BTW, Noaware is itself a security risk.
