This is what I read on their site: "Buy Adobe software with 80% discount! We do guarantee that all programs are 100% fully working retail versions - no demos or academic versions."
So it seems time to go to their contact page: http://www.adobepromo.com/contacts.php and ask them about the issue. You'll see a CNET Certified and BBB accredited logo on that page. Don't know if they are fake, of course.
As they only accept payments via credit card, it won't be difficult to get your money back if it IS a scam. Just refuse the payment and let the CC-company do the work.
I looked for the site on the whois-database. The contact details of the registrar:
Anatoliy Kuvirkin
Fax: +8.9111491900
Biruzova 21/2 72

email: advertolog@gmail.com
It's first registered end of May 2009.
Doesn't look too promising. I wonder if the BBB would accredit a Russian firm. Why not ask the BBB? They should know.
What were your friends experiences with them?
On the sunny side: you lost at most 20% of what the software normally costs. So, the worst that can happen is that you pay 120% where 100% should have been enough. That's a good price for a lesson about verifying unknown shops before buying there.

Hi everyone. I wanted to buy Adobe Flash CS3 and a friend directed me to a place name "AdobePromo.com". They said they sell adobe software downloads cheaper. I purchased the Adobe Flash CS3 and downloaded it, but it has no serial# to activate the software it looks like the 30 days trial version. I think I might have been ripped off. Has any of you ever heard about AdobePromo.com? They claim to be a ligit business.
