Adobe Reader Problems???

Nov 28, 2004 2:28AM PST

I've made multiple attempts to open my "Adobe Reader">different problem everytime! It's the "FREE Download". Everything from "Windows has detected an error/program will be shut down" to "Cannot detect font..."or "A Drawing Error Has Occurred". I've gone to their site, followed all instructions to uninstall then reinstall with the current updates(6.02). Still no luck. Anyone know what's up with this? I'm running Windows 2000 Pro + 512Mb Ram.

Thanks Bob! But I'm not really sure how to "Delete temporary files"-other than through my "tools">"internet options"???

That's the exact steps I follow-every time I log off my computer. And yes, I deleted all the "temp files". That was the only suggestion under that link Bob. I'm a "neat freak"-when it comes to my computer. I keep internet cache cleaned fervently. Upon reboot, I tried to open the "Adobe reader" again-still no luck. There must be a gliche in the program somewhere. I guess that's "Adobe's" way of saying "BUY" the whole program!
