Adobe reader install

Feb 27, 2007 1:08AM PST

I am running vista 64-bit and cannot install adobe reader 8.0. The install comes up with an error message stating the disc is full or I do not have permissions for the temp folder, neither of which is true. Any ideas?

Found the FOXIT reader to be a suitable replacement until Adobe catches up with Vista.

Why didn't the software issue an error message telling you this in the first place?

The first solution worked for me. That's why in another post on this forum, I complained about too much security in Vista. I am learning all the ins and outs, but sometimes you just want things to workwithout having to "allow".
