Adobe photoshop CS4 Crashes out when using "Vanishing point"

Mar 20, 2010 4:40PM PDT

My system configuration is RAM 4 GB,Processor Intel Quad CPU 2.4 GHz, 2.39 GHz. Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit operating system, NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT Graphic card 512 MB.
My problem is while working in Adobe Photoshop CS4 whenever I use Filter Vanishing point, the moment I copy an object in the grid created by vanishing point, Photoshop immediately crashes out.I have down loaded latest Graphic card and window drivers also disabled open GL support in the preferences but nothing has solved my problem. Can any one please help me out.Otherwise Photoshop works fine.

They are rather famous for software bugs like that.

By chance I happened to stray into windows online trouble shooting service where many people with the same problem had requested for a solution, luckily one suggestion when tried did work for me i.e. changing the window theme to window 7 basic. Now "Vanishing point" filter works as it should.

So that's a bug in their software.

And why they need the call to fix it.

Finally after pulling my hair out and going bald, I found a solution that works.
