adobe flash player

The issue i am haveing is that i just restored my laptop back to factory and i am still haveing problems with adobe flash player. It keeps crashing and running my games on facebook really slow. The system i am running is a sony viao laptop with vista

I looked again at the link I supplied and it's how to uncheck a setting in adobe flash player.

I can only guess you didn't want to try this setting.

If you watch flash movies

If you watch Flash movies or play Flash games in a browser, then indeed you do have that!

Have you tried it? With any Flash movie or any Flash game open in the browser, follow those instructions.

Right click anywhere in the Flash window. Select Settings.

Look in all tabs for the option to "Enable hardware acceleration". If it is enabled, disable it.

I turned off the enable hardware acceleration. It still did not help. It just keeps crashing everytime i try to play the games on facebook.

Now that we know it is not Flash's hardware accel setting.

We have to look at the laptop so let's start with a simple question. How long has it been since it was cleaned?

(Hint? Canned air and vents.)

Without regular maintenance it only gets worse.

yeah. This laptop is like 6 years old. I so need to get a new one.
