Adobe Flash Player

About every 10 seconds I get a message on my screen asking if I want to install Adobe Flash Player. I don't but can't find a way to get rid of this annoying message. I have Windows XP. Can anyone help me?

Is this while you are browsing a web site?

If so, which web site?

If not, what are you doing on the computer when this window pops up? Where does it appear on the screen, eg, is it in the center of the screen, or does it pop up near the bottom right corner, near the clock?

Any more clues about the message? Exact wording, and what does the blue title bar of the window say?

Do you have any Adobe software installed on your system?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
