Adobe Creative Suite 3

I am teaching a high school web design class. I am presently using Studio MX 2004. I am looking to upgrade to possibly Studio 8. However, I am confused as to the difference between the CS3 version and the Studio 8 version. Can I get someone to clarify this for me? Thanks. . . . Paula

Studio 8 comes with the following softwares:
Dreamweaver 8, Flash Professional 8, Fireworks 8, Contribute 3, and FlashPaper 2(http://www.adobe.com/products/studio/productinfo/products/)
