Question

Administrator Problems

Jul 21, 2016 8:01AM PDT

Trying to run a bit of software and the computer keeps telling me I need permission from the administrator to run it and to please sign in. I am the administrator and I keep telling it that but it still wont let me in. What is the problem and how do I get around it?

windows 10 running MS Edge

Something's off here.

If my account is in the administrator group and privilege then I get the warning and just need to click yes. I have yet to see a sign in page.

Since I don't see any mention of the software title, version or where it came from I can't offer much today. You may be stuck asking this software's author what's up.

then your personal admin account. If your attempting to run from a shortcut right-Click on that shortcut then click RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR. Try that and see if it helps.
