Address cache?? MS Outlook Professional 2003

May 25, 2004 12:40AM PDT

Hi, I'm stuck.. Over the last few months i've emailed many people. When I type into the to: field, it comes up with a huge amount of email address suggestions, and I usually press the tab keys to go to the correct one in the list (does this make sense?!)... Is there anyway of clearing the addresses which appear in the 'to:' box when you are typing text?? (selecting recipients etc??)

In fact, I immediately used my new knowledge on my PC at work to remove some long gone colleagues from the list. Our helpdesk had told me it couldn't be done, but that they would automatically disappear when system management found time to remove them from the central address book. Even if the last point is true, this is much better.

Thank you for asking!
