Address Book troubles in Outlook Express, Windows XP

Mar 15, 2004 7:26AM PST

A few days ago, my mother's Outlook Express address book became inexplicably corrupted. Everyone else's address book is working fine. Does anyone have any advice as how to remedy this problem?

Does she have a backup copy of her address book? If so, try replacing it.

Err, that's a negative. =(

It seems we're out of luck.

Sorry you are out of luck but...

for future use you should keep a backup of the Address Book as well as Internet Explorer Favorites if used. If you are not familiar with the procedure go to File Menu and choose the Import/Export feature and follow the prompts. Then save to some media such as a floppy disk that can then be Imported back if a disaster occurs. I make backups once or twice a month.

Just a suggestion!
