If you upgrade Windows ME to XP, will you lose the programs already installed?

No, but there may be issues. Your Windows ME computer may not be able to upgrade to XP as there may be hardware incompatibility issues. Also, some of the installed programs may not be compatible with XP.

If you re-install XP onto an existing XP PC, will it erase the installed programs? Yes it will.

I hope that helps.
