Question

Adding RAM to older desktop

I have a 2002 XP Home edition desktop Acer. 3.06GHz 4CPU 896MB RAM 3.07GH(2) I would like to click in a KINGSTON 2 GB DDR2 extra RAM Is this compatible? I know how to click it in the computer I just was wondering before I open this package if I can add it safely

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
