adding a video Player to my website

Can someone explain to me how I can add a video player to my blog.
I can't find anything anywhere on howto.Google's video player is just horrible.Not the answer.I tried Smart Player http://www.5min.com/ with frustrating results.Can't add it as a gadget only post it.Mc Media player http://www.mcmediaplayer.com/ was no easier.I am sure I am probably in the wrong forum but I could not find any forum for wesite help.

Sorry but I find that too complicated for me.I just need a simple player
that can link to short how-to videos that I make with Quick screen recorder.

Just Use Youtube

Just use youtube and embed the videos. You'll pull traffic from youtube doing it this way.

That would mean that I would have to upload all my vids to Utube first.
Anyone have any knowledge how I can set up 5min.com video player on my website as a gadget or there is one called HTML\javascript but when I copy and paste the embed code for some reason it won't work.This is the scenario.I make computer how to videos with screen recorder or windows movie maker and would like to be able to view them in a video player on my blog.Blogger video player is limited.No full screen and the few controls in it are not quite adequate.My blog is freshwaterbay.blogspot.com
