I've had to turn off WEP/WPA and enable SSID (in short, use the factory defaults) to get such things working then I go back in and enable MAC FILTERING to lock down the system.

Situation:
I currently have a Windows Media Center 2005 directly connected to my Belkin 54mps G router. I have 2 other computers that have Belkin G cards(1 laptop 1 pc).
I will be getting a xbox media extender kit soon for my xbox that is located a floor down on the other side of my house.
I had will be getting a NETGEAR - WGE111- 54 Mbps Wireless Game Adapter for connectivity. But I'm thinking of returning it(haven't gotten it yet)
Questions:
I can't find out, but Does the NETGEAR Wireless Game Adapter allow me to use the WPA key that I have used on my other network devices? If not would that mean I can't put this on my network?
Range - This is on the other side of my house. What are some good options to boost the signal? Extenders, Repeaters, better router?
I got a good deal on the Belkin stuff, but if getting a better router down the road helps then great. But my other question on this is. If I get a new MIMO router, then would that extend the range enough for existing b/G products, especially the game adapter. If I should return the Game adapter, I hear the a/g is better. any thoughts?
hope that's enough questions.. Thanks for any answers.
