Adding 2nd hard drive

How do I know what type of hard drive I can add to my machine?

My stats:
- Dell Dimension 8250
- 2.40 gigahertz Intel Pentium 4
- 768 Megabytes Installed Memory

Is there a site I can go to which will tell me what I can install? (IE crucial.com for RAM info)

Thanks,
Mike

Well unless you just recently bought that dell computer. I don't think it uses the new Serial ATA interface. So, i would guess you could just go buy a Ultra ATA hard drive and you should be good. you can go on dell website and find out your specs.
i checked on dell website. You need to purchase a Ultra ATA hard drive. I recommend Seagate. really quiet drive

Sorry, I wouldn't spend the money on a retail hard drive because you can format it using windows disk management. I would go the cheaper route and buy a OEM drive. Go to http://www.newegg.com
This is one of the best online stores. Cheap prices
i bought all my components for my new system from them.
