Add/Remove

There is an item in add/remove called C-Media WDM Audio Driver. Add/Remove also shows my sound card driver SiS7012. I checked out a driver web site and it said C-Media WDM Audio Friver is for Windows 2000. Since I have XP I uninstalled it in add/remove. It told me the uninstall was successful and restarted. However, it is still in add/remove. It never did show any size. Why is it still there?

Only a suggestion, try the following program, it is freeware, it worked for me once, Add/Remove Pro V2.08 if you do a google search it is the first one listed from superwin.com. It will remove the listing. I don't know why this happens, but this program seems to resolve the issue.
Hope this helps.
Eddie
