add on and adobe flash player

Hi ,i'm using HP mini 110 3100,RAM 1G, IE8 on w7(32bit).Cpu atom 1.8g.Ram.Using avast AV..My problem is recently i installed IE9 beta.i don't like IE9 beta so i uninstalled it.Then this message comeup "add on for the web fail to run" everytime when i try to read my ymail inbox .After that i wanna watch youtube video,message appear asking to upgrade adobe flash player.I did upgrade to adobe flash ver 10 the latest one.It's installed perfectly but the same message still appear.What minimum requirement for adobe flash to run on my system?anybody pls tell me what wrong with my netbook?

What browser did you end up using now? Installing Flash on one browser does not install it on all browsers.

Are you using a paid version of Avast!, if so are you trying to use the Avast! sandbox with your browser?
I ask because the Avast! sandbox can cause Flash to not load sometimes when your browser is running sandboxed.
