But since we are not adding to the RAID I'd shutdown and install the drive and plug the SATA cable into the next available connection.
I won't write about Windows disk management.
I currently am dual booting Vista 64-bit Business and XP Professional 32-bit on a RAID-0 hard drive setup. I just purchased another HD (same as the two that are on RAID-0 setup), and would like to add it, but not to the RAID platform. Essentially, I just want to add the new hard drive for storage. Is this possible, and can anyone please suggest the best way to approach this? I am on an ASUS P5K-E MOBO.
Thanks in advance for any advice!
