Question

AdChoices popups

I have been inundated recently with full screen AdChoices popups on my 1+5T. It is infuriating. When I check recent apps, the ad shows up as its own item, not part of a browser window. I found this page at malwarefox about removing AdChoices and went through the opt-out process. However, when I try to reset my Chrome per instructions, I find that there is no "reset" option. If I go to apps and try to clear the cache on Chrome, the cache will not clear. So I don't know what's going on.

That said I don't even know if it's Chrome or another Google app that is causing these. Is there any way to track down what app is throwing these ads so I can uninstall it? Is there a log that would tell me this, or some way to create one?

I had the same problem. But not the same device. I made the device factory reset and problem gone.
