I gave it a spin when it first came out and saw how incredibly easy it was to use compared to the others available. It's laid out so it's easy to use, even for those new to computers, and graphically-appealing. It seemed to provide adequate protection, but what I didn't like was the lack of control the user has. It doesn't give you some of the more advanced options other firewalls have...it seems to take more into its own hands. Thus, while it's great for the newer user, the same characteristics may turn of a more advanced user. Personally, I'd rather have ZoneAlarm. It's a little more advanced, but not too complicate for the beginner to use (the pre-set options are fine, so there's no need to mess with the settings), and best of all it's completely free. I don't like paying for software if I don't have to, and this is a case where I have the option to keep the money in my wallet.
Hope this helps,
John
And what do you think? I downloaded it, saved, but wanted some opinions if anyone has tried it?
