ad mocking McCain is 'terrible'

by critic411 / September 22, 2008 11:36 PM PDT

Says Joe Biden

"Asked about the negative tone of the campaign, and this ad in particular, during an interview broadcast Monday by the "CBS Evening News," Obama's running mate, Sen. Joe Biden, said he disapproved of it.

"I thought that was terrible, by the way," Biden said.

Asked why it was done, he said: "I didn't know we did it and if I had anything to do with it, we'd have never done it."

By the way.
It has been proven that Obama supported sex education for kindergarteners

Telling a young child not to let someone touch you in certain places?

Sex Ed?...I guess so

Do you think that's wrong?

The clip I heard
by Dragon / September 24, 2008 12:45 AM PDT

had to do with McCain not knowing how to use a computer and so forth. It was one where Obama says at the end, "I'm Barrack Obama and I approve this ad."

It's amazing that Obama implicitly denies the fact that

John McCain was a jet fighter pilot flying combat missions off the deck of a carrier. That makes McCain a technological dummy. Right?

that defines McCain's elitism

there are few pilots on the planet that have those qualifications. imagine landing on a strip of the USA in the vast pacific ocean. now do it at night.

that was the era I believe when the pilot not a computer made the instantaneous decisions on how to land.

but let us give Obama a pass (yes we can). McCain was not a fighter pilot. the A4 was an attack/bomber aircraft

"at least three have been flown as privately-operated warbirds."

sort of give a new meaning to the right to keep and bear arms. Happy

I'd love to watch you go into a military pilots' hang-out bar and argue that Fighter jocks are superior to Attack bird jocks. That might prove interesting to watch.

I never noticed much, and Lord knows, I've spent a number of hours in such places. Sometimes the FACs (forward Air Controllers) come up with the harriest stories. The "do it" bumper sticker variation game was funny for a while. I think that the OV-10 drivers had the best - OV-10 drivers can handle two pieces of tail at the same time.

What Obama didn't know
by Dragon / September 24, 2008 5:01 AM PDT

(or his campaign when he or Biden blames it for screwing up) is that McCain is physically unable to type, to comb his hair and so forth, due to damage done to him while a POW. Obama just figured hew as an old guy, way behind the times, who didn't bother to learn to use a puter.

then they are really stupid to have not done the research. It's not like it was a secret.

Biden going back on what he said makes it even more shameful.

if his inability to type has been confirmed? I heard people interviewed who have been passengers in a car he was driving without difficulty. I've forgotten the man's name, but he knew McCain well enough to have been driven by him several times and had no knowledge of a typing impairing injury.

In reply to: Do you know

We already discussed this in some detail here. It has been documented that he can't type due to injuries sustained in captivity.

I'm sure if you think it's a lie you can search for it.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
