Ad: Get the OnStar Treatment

Jun 23, 2007 9:52PM PDT

This CNET ad takes you here; http://www.onstar.com/us_english/jsp/onstar_treatment.jsp?cmp=OLA_OnStar_Treatment_Gets_It_Lifestyle
(the web site is not harmful).

Will CNET ever remove this ad? Sometimes it's on the left, sometimes at the top, more often it's in both places.

Wherever it is it maxes out my CPU usage for about 5-10 seconds before it settles down. As I am constantly moving from forum to forum and discussion to discussion, the damm thing is really getting to me, (excuse the language please, Happy ).

I know I could block all CNET ads, but I do look at them sometimes.

Mark,
{disgruntled, snappy, not enough coffee yet this morning!}

Just tried it

Processor never went above 58% usage, according to "Menu Meters" as the site was downloaded.

It does nothing to the processor when I swap forums to one that has that ad on it.

BTW, Your post in this forum is directly under the ad! Happy
