Ad for phone that doesn't exist

The Pomegranate phone was part of a unique marketing campaign by the Nova Scotia government to draw newcomers to the province. Too bad it isn't real. Video

HALIFAX ? Billed as the ?ultimate all-in-one device,? the new Pomegranate NS08 phone plays music, takes photos, surfs the web, projects movies and ? simply place the device over a mug ? brews a delicious cup of coffee.

It would seem, to anyone who visits www.pomegranatephone.ca, that the sleek hand-held does it all, except exist.

The name, "Pomegranate Phone" is a clever take-off on Apple, to boot. Happy

I have to admire those who can think out of the box in their ads that way. People really ARE expecting their wireless phones to handle more and more tasks, Just a short leap that Nova Scotia can deliver what it promises.

Thing like this make me think of my Mom
by Josh K / November 11, 2008 2:25 AM PST

Once we finally convinced her to get a cell phone, she went into a local store and picked one out. After the salesman spent several minutes showing her all the "cool" things it does, she simply asked, "OK, but how do I make a call?"

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
