Resolved Question

Ad Aware Free Internet Security

Sep 1, 2011 4:54AM PDT

I have this program however the 'Ad Watch' real time protection went OFF. How can I correct this?
I can't delete and re-install because I'm not an administrator.
My computer is a Windows 7.The security I use is Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, CCleaner, Avg free and Ad Aware.
Thanks so much for your help.

You don't say why you are not an Administrator but since that is the case get the computers' Administrator to look at it for you.

I tried unsuccessfully to upgrade to the latest version hoping this might bring " Ad Watch Real Live Protection" ON again.A notice stated that I would have to sign in as an administrator to continue.
Now I'm stuck as I don't know what to do next. I do not have an administrator for my computer.
Please help.

Why are you not an Administrator?

Who is the Administrator for this machine?

Windows 7 comes with an administrator account. What did you do with it?

I'm sorry for the confusion. I am not familiar with administrators etc. on the computer. I guess I am the administrator. I do know that my "Ad Watch Real Time Protection" is now ON. Why, I don't know. Maybe running all my scans helped.
Thank you for all of your help.
